A Step back for Homeschool Sports!

EVAC schools use homeschoolers on their teams,
but will not compete against homeschool teams!

After 16 years of climbing up the ladder of acceptance for homeschooled athletes, please note the following amendments to EVAC bylaws that disqualified us from membership!

Article 3.Membership
Section 3.03 Membership Criteria

Membership in the EVAC shall be limited to private schools which the EVAC Board of
Directors, in its sole discretion, determines to have maintained all of the following: (a) a regular
paid faculty; (b) a regularly enrolled body of pupils or students in regular attendance at the same
place and facilities where the School's educational activities are regularly carried on; and (c) a
curriculum based, developmentally appropriate program of education which meets criteria
leading to high school graduation as approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

RESOLVED: The above amendment shall be filed with the official records of the EVAC
and shall take effect on December 30, 2005.
