Membership Requirements and Dues
There are no membership requirements or dues to be associated with TEACH. We welcome all local home schooling families to join with us in the various activities and programs that we offer.
The parents coordinate the programs by serving on the TEACH Board, volunteering for department head duties, coaching, fundraising, etc.
Our Privacy Policy
TEACH will always honor and respect the Privacy of those who entrust us with any information. All information (personal, demographic, survey feedback, correspondence, etc.) received by TEACH, via any avenue, is seen and used only by the TEACH Board. At no time does TEACH sell, rent, or trade personal family information.
TEACH Governing Board and Officers
Each Board member serves in a non-waged, voluntary capacity. Husband and wife are asked to serve together, but it is not mandatory. Primarily, it is for two reasons: (1) each Board member will understand and support what their spouse is doing for the homeschool community, and (2) if one spouse cannot attend a Board meeting, hopefully, the other one can.
Eight couples is an ideal number of Board members, serving a term of three years. Each member may seek re-appointment at the conclusion of the serving term, with no limit on the number of years they can effectively serve.
An Officer must be a current member of the Board and is elected by the entire Board to serve a term of one year, with no limitation on the number of years they can be re-elected. Elections are held in July of each year.
Presently, there are five Officer positions: President, Admin. Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer and Asst. Treasurer.
All Board members are expected to attend all major events as a team. Each at large Board member is assigned at least one regular duty related to programs offered by TEACH.
